FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE October 1, 2007 Alpha II, Inc. awarded three-year CARF accreditation CARF International announced that Alpha II, Inc. has been accredited for a period of three years for its Community Housing: Alcohol and Other Drugs / Addictions (Adult) as well as the Residential Treatment: Alcohol and Other Drugs / Addictions (Adult) programs. The latest accreditation is the first Three-Year Accreditation that the international accrediting body has awarded to Alpha II, Inc. This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable. About Alpha II: Alpha II is a non-profit organization founded in 1978 whose mission is: To promote the quality of life and emotional well being of Oklahoma by advocating, encouraging and exemplifying the barrier free delivery of responsive, innovative community based substance abuse services in an environment of dignity and respect for all consumers, their families and staff.
